For me, film is less so a medium or tool, and more a way of documenting- film is a process. I am not someone that "lives by film," but instead chooses to use film to capture what I live by. I choose film for the softer moments, to capture things as they are, when I find a moment enchanting- Sometimes moments that wouldn't phase anyone else. As you scroll through the Film Diaries, do not be in search of technical mastery. Do not be in search of cohesion. Pay no mind to scratches or dust marks, unless it is to admire their pesky yet charming presence, for they are all a part of the process. And hence: The Film Diaries (2014-2021).
